The East York Concert Band is looking for talented amateur musicians to join our ranks.
The Band’s Instrumentation
Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Euphonium/Baritone Horn, Tuba and Percussion.
Senior high school-level experience, or the equivalent, on your instrument of choice is recommended. Other than percussionists, members must supply their own instruments. Band members pay nominal dues on an annual basis to support the band’s ongoing operations.

Weekly rehearsals are held from September to June on Monday evenings, 8 to 10 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion‘s Brigadier O.M. Martin Legion Hall (Branch 345), located at 81 Peard Rd. in East York. Just north of cross streets: Victoria Park Av. and St. Clair Ave. E.
Apart from the above, we have openings for all instruments from time to time. If you would like to join us, please email [email protected] and a band representative will follow up with you.
